      I believe phones are educational tools that get students excited for the day. Many classes have questions or projects that require you to look up information that is needed and phones allow students to do that

      They can indeed be educational. they have calculators for math as well as Apps such as Spanish translator, math apps, grammar apps, etc. also yo can use google for many of your subjects.

      Yes. All the time we are constantly looking at our phones and sometimes people get the idea that it's just to text someone back. There are many educational apps you can easily download.

    Yes, they can be educational. They can show information and have many learning apps. This can help you find facts and information very fast and at your fingerprints!!!!

      Yes I agree 100%!!!! What I also think we should have at school is laptops. Everyone should have their own and do classwork and homework on them. If we had those we wouldn't need to worry about loosing assignments and we wouldn't have to even switch classes unless wanted.

    Letting us use our phones for educational tools would make kids want to come to school and it would also make school a whole lot better and easier for us.

      Yes, phones would be great in school. They won't only make kids come to school more, they will raise grades. With all the apps for math and foreign languages, kids will have lots of knowledge! Most kids won't look at educational stuff on a phone at home, if they do it at school they will be more interested. Kids always have phones out at home. This way they could remember to finish an assignment.

    cell phones can be educational tools because you can use your phone to search stuff. And i think its easier to type on your phone. You can use your phone for math class because there is a calculator.

    Yes, because you can use them for clickers. Then other schools have ipads to watch educational videos, and we can do online lessons. If phones were allowed at school. Finally, we can use them as calculators on our phones.

    I believe phones would help us greatly. It would not only make school fun, but it would make it easier. Students would actually have a reason to come to school. Now days in most classes it is really boring. We could make it fun by using our phones for assignments to calculate math problems. Also, we could easily find out who the people we learn about in history class is by the touch of a finger. Bring phones into learning!!!!!!

    Of course! Phones may have been built for contact only, but they own websites. (Google) Phones own a source of smart technology of allowing you to learn something you never knew. Calculations made in seconds, amazing information given in paragraphs, and also the data you can store in these devices. My idea of using phones? Sure. But I don't like using something that can be put in a pocket and stolen... But of course, phones should be used in public schools. But are we sure that the McCreary County Board of Education agree with us?
